Credit Card Security

We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the Internet. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. We are committed to safeguarding the privacy of our users. We will only use the information we collect about you lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. When you make a purchase from amospumps.co.uk we need to collect certain information to process your transaction and fulfill your order, we will not sell, rent, lease or otherwise distribute this information to any other company.

Due to regular attempted fraudulent orders we always undertake a number of checks to ensure that our losses are kept to a minimum. During these checks we may consult a credit reference agency about you who will record the search. Our web site links to other sites. Please be aware that we are not responsible for the privacy practices of these other sites.

Guarantee

Amos Pumps gives 12 months guarantee from the date of sale on all goods manufactured or supplied by us. If within this period any defect is discovered in respect of workmanship, construction or material, we undertake to make good the defect or replace the defective part at our expense inside normal working hours at our works, or pay a sum equal to the cost of repairs at our works at our option, providing that notice is given immediately the defect is discovered and that if required by Amos Pumps the part or complete unit is returned to our works carriage paid.

Spares or repaired parts are delivered ex works Helston exclusive of fitting. This guarantee does not apply to defects caused by incorrect fitting or erection, abnormal conditions of working, accident, misuse or neglect. Our responsibility is in all cases limited to the cost of making good the defect or replacing the defective part, and we can not be responsible for any consequential or other damage or losses which may occur.

Delivery

TNT are our carriers and they have available an on-line tracking system to enable you to keep track of your consignment, when we acknowledge your order we also give you a TNT consignment note number, you can the use this link www.tnt.co.uk to track your own consignment.

All our published prices include delivery to a mainland UK address. Assuming that the product ordered is in stock, items ordered before 1200 hrs Monday to Thursday will be delivered the next day. Goods ordered on a Friday before 1200 hrs will be delivered the following Monday excluding Bank Holidays. Goods ordered on Saturday/Sunday will be delivered the following Tuesday unless the Monday is a Bank Holiday in which case the delivery will be on Wednesday. Offshore islands please, contact our sales office for a carriage quotation.

Orders from Jersey and Guernsey will be supplied VAT Free but must be placed by telephone on 01326-573341

Please note that deliveries to the North of Scotland can take up to 2 working days.

Please note that while every effort is made to obtain a next day delivery it cannot be guanteed and we will not be held responsible for any costs incurred because of non-delivery caused by factors beyond our control.

IMPORTANT

Our courier company is not insured to enter your house/premises and will therefore require your assistance in handling any item in excess of 30 kgs.

We try very hard to provide high quality customer service but at the end of the day we are only human and we do make mistakes (we promise though that if we do, we will do our best to put them right).
