Overview
A 1hp Jet pump allows this compact pressurised system to increase the pressure of potable or clean water for many uses such as domestic or agricultural water supply, irrigation, car washing or connecting to industrial process machines after a type A air gap has been generated. Its simple to install with only three connections, two plumbing and one electrical connection.
Its versatility, power and quietness lends itself to 1001 uses being economical to run and inexpensive buy.
A 1 inch spring loaded footvalve and strainer is supplied free of charge with this set.

Technical Specification
The pump is of the well proven Jet type with noryl impeller and diffuser inside a cast iron body, this is attached to a 1 hp (0.75kW) 220/240 volt, single phase, 50 Hz motor via a stainless steel drive shaft. A start capacitor is housed above the motor, cooling is by an external fan protected by a steel cover. Fitted onto the pump body are a pressure switch, pre-set to 20/40 lbs/sq./inch and a pressure gauge. The pump is bolted above a 60 litre horizontal surge tank having a removable butyl diaphragm. From the discharge of the pump is a three way tee and flexible hose, this transports water under pressure to the surge tank. Water connections too and from the pump are 1 B.S.P. female ports. A 1 B.S.P. footvalve with stainless steel strainer is supplied. The complete unit starts and stops automatically by sensing the pressure of water in the delivery pipe.
